How to become a breeding manager?

Career: Breeding Manager

The qualifications you need to become a breeding manager are at least a high school diploma and experience working with animals or livestock. Many employers prefer you to have an associate’s degree in animal science, agriculture, agribusiness, or equine reproduction. You need strong record-keeping skills in order to maintain in-depth records about the animals, schedule staff, order supplies, and stick to your budget. If you work for a large organization, your role is more supervisory, and previous experience managing staff and delegating tasks is useful. In a smaller organization, you have a more hands-on role with the animals.
