How to become a bagger?

A job as a Bagger does not require a special degree or specific skills. You can apply for this job without a background in retail or and prior work experience. However, the hiring managers will be interested in your ability to show up consistently, your physical ability to complete the job, and your customer service skills. Baggers deal directly with customers and often are required to answer questions about products or store policy. You must also be able to stand for extended periods of time. Your employer will provide on-the-job training, including how to bag the groceries or purchased items.
