How to be a good referee?

A good referee must be fair and cannot show favoritism to any team during a match or game. You must also understand the rules of the game, which may change slightly from year to year. To stay current, you must attend annual clinics to ensure you fully understand any rule changes or points of emphasis. In addition to fairness and intimate knowledge of the game, you must also remain in strong physical shape to be able to move around the large field of play and monitor players during a game.
