How to apply for police jobs?

To qualify for police jobs, complete your high school diploma or obtain a GED certificate. Depending on the agency, you may need to be a U.S. citizen, 18 or 21 years of age, and have a valid driver’s license and clean criminal record. For a federal law enforcement job, such as with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or the FBI, you need a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. For state or local police jobs, you must pass the law enforcement entrance exam to get into the police academy.
