How do you become a solar installer?

To become a Solar Photovoltaic Installer (PV installer), you must first get a high school diploma or equivalent. You then need the necessary skills and experience to perform the job well. These can be gained by working under an experienced Solar Installer and receiving on-the-job training, or through certificate programs and training centers. You can also enroll in a vocational school program to learn this trade. While most employers do not require secondary education, some prefer it and a degree could make you a stronger candidate.
