How Do Newspaper Carriers Get Paid
A Newspaper Carrier, or delivery person, is usually paid based on the number of papers they deliver along their route. Most newspapers pay a flat rate of 10-15 cents per paper. Since there is an increased number of customers and a larger paper size on weekends, some Couriers are paid a higher rate on Saturdays and Sundays. Some Newspaper Carrier only work weekends, while others work every day.
