How can I become a grill cook?

In most instances, a position as a grill cook does not require educational qualifications, and anyone with a high school diploma and basic kitchen experience can apply, though more upscale restaurants have more strenuous requirements for cooking positions. Some restaurants may require that you complete vocational training, trade school programs, or graduate with an associate degree in culinary arts to be considered for the position. Typically though, experience working in a kitchen can teach the skills required for becoming a grill cook. Grill cooks must be superb multi-taskers, aware of safe food preparation practices, and adhere to all governmental rules and regulations for food service employees.
