How can I become a dryer operator?

Career: Dryer Operator

There are no universal qualifications to become a dryer operator. You may need a high school diploma or GED certificate, but you can do the majority of your training on the job. You can also acquire a Pasteurizer license. Many employers prefer that you have a forklift license as well. You must be familiar with production lines and equipment. As a dryer operator, you stand for long periods of time and frequently climb ladders and stairs, so you need the physical stamina and strength to do so. Other necessary skills include the ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and basic math and reasoning skills.
