How can I become a clay modeler?

Career: Clay Modeler

The qualifications that you need to start a career as a clay modeler include a degree or demonstratable skills working with clay. Some clay modelers have a degree in a fine-art subject, such as sculpture or ceramics, while others have a bachelor’s degree in industrial design. You may also choose to learn this trade as part of an apprenticeship with an experienced clay modeler. Regardless of your degree achievements, you need to be able to read blueprints and understand dimensions and measurements. Experience with 3D or 2D sketch design is also beneficial.
