How can I become a chiropractor?

Career: Chiropractor

In order to practice chiropractic medicine, typically, the first step is to earn a bachelor’s degree. Next, obtain a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college. Students will study subjects such as anatomy, chiropractic philosophy and diagnosis, and hands-on technique. Students are expected to intern under a licensed Chiropractor or gain similar experience in the field while undergoing their education. Lastly, an aspiring Chiropractor must pass a three-part exam offered by The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Upon passing this, a candidate will be a licensed Chiropractor.
