What is an hourly traveling RBT?

An Hourly Traveling RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is a credentialed professional who provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to clients, typically children with autism or other developmental disorders, at multiple locations. Unlike a traditional RBT who might work in a single clinic or school, a traveling RBT moves between clients’ homes, schools, or community settings as needed. They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and help implement treatment plans to improve clients’ behavioral, social, and communication skills. The position is usually paid on an hourly basis and often requires flexibility, travel, and strong organizational skills.
