What is a hack?

Hackers are individuals who use their technical knowledge and skills to gain unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or data. While the term often has a negative connotation, not all hackers engage in malicious activity. Some hackers, known as 'white-hat' hackers or ethical hackers, help organizations find and fix security vulnerabilities. Others, called 'black-hat' hackers, exploit these weaknesses for personal gain or malicious purposes. There are also 'gray-hat' hackers who may break rules but not necessarily for personal benefit.
