What is a gas driver?

Gas Drivers are professional drivers responsible for transporting gasoline, diesel, or other fuel products, usually in specialized tanker trucks, from distribution terminals to gas stations or industrial clients. They ensure safe handling, loading, and unloading of hazardous materials according to strict safety regulations. Gas Drivers must follow all transportation laws, maintain accurate delivery records, and inspect their vehicles regularly to prevent leaks or accidents. This role often requires a commercial driver's license (CDL) with hazardous materials (HazMat) and tanker endorsements.
