What is a full time RN ADN?

A Full Time RN ADN is a registered nurse (RN) who has earned an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and works full-time, typically 36-40 hours per week. These nurses are licensed to provide patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings like hospitals, clinics, or nursing homes. The ADN program usually takes about two years to complete and prepares graduates to pass the NCLEX-RN exam and enter the nursing workforce. Full-time RNs with an ADN often perform the same core duties as those with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), though some employers may prefer or require a BSN for certain roles.
