What is a full time multi engine pilot?

Full Time Multi Engine Pilots are professional aviators who are licensed and trained to operate aircraft with more than one engine. They typically work for airlines, charter companies, corporate flight departments, or government agencies and fly multi-engine airplanes on scheduled or non-scheduled flights. Responsibilities include pre-flight inspections, flight planning, navigation, communication with air traffic control, and ensuring the safety of passengers and crew. Full time status means the pilot works a regular, usually 40-hour or more, workweek and may spend significant time traveling or away from home.
