What is a freelance clinic based RBT?

A Freelance Clinic Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a certified professional who provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to clients, typically children with autism or other developmental disorders, within a clinic setting, but works on a contract or freelance basis rather than as a full-time employee. RBTs implement treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), collect data, and assist clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills. As freelancers, they have the flexibility to choose their hours and clients, often working with multiple clinics or agencies.
