What is free RBT training?

Free RBT Training refers to complimentary educational programs that prepare individuals to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). These training programs typically cover the core competencies required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), such as measurement, assessment, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and professional conduct. Free RBT Training is often offered online by nonprofit organizations, ABA clinics, or some educational institutions, and it fulfills the 40-hour training requirement needed to qualify for the RBT certification exam. While the training may be free, additional costs such as the competency assessment and BACB application fees may still apply.
