What is a flowback operator trainee?

Flowback Operator Trainees are entry-level workers in the oil and gas industry who assist with monitoring and maintaining equipment during the flowback phase of well completion. Their main responsibility is to learn how to safely manage the separation of fluids, such as oil, gas, and water, that return to the surface after hydraulic fracturing. Under supervision, they help operate valves, maintain safety standards, and collect data for analysis. This role provides foundational training for becoming a full-fledged Flowback Operator.
