What is Equitable Gas?

Equitable Gas was a natural gas utility company that provided gas services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers primarily in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky. The company was known for distributing and supplying natural gas for heating, cooking, and industrial use. In 2013, Equitable Gas was acquired by Peoples Natural Gas, and its operations were integrated under the Peoples brand. Customers who previously had Equitable Gas now receive service from Peoples Natural Gas. The transition was aimed at improving service and expanding the network of natural gas distribution.
