What is an Edison?

Edisons are members of the General Electric (GE) Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP), a prestigious rotational program for early-career engineers. Participants are given the opportunity to work in various engineering roles within GE, gaining hands-on experience and technical training. The program is designed to develop future technical leaders by providing challenging assignments, mentorship, and professional development. Edisons typically rotate through different projects and business units over two to three years, building a strong foundation for a career in engineering.
