What is a CPC driver?

CPC drivers are professional drivers who have obtained a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), which is a qualification required for anyone who drives a lorry, bus, or coach as their main job in the UK and EU. The CPC ensures that drivers maintain high standards of road safety and driving skills. To become a CPC driver, one must pass initial qualification tests and then complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years to stay certified.
