Can an apprentice plumber work alone?

Career: Apprentice Plumber

An Apprentice Plumber is responsible for earning a set number of training hours each year, shadowing and practicing their skills under the supervision of a professional plumber. Unless you have passed your apprenticeship requirements, an Apprentice Plumber cannot work alone. Completing your apprenticeship program demonstrates that you have the qualifications and work experience to work as a Plumber. Earning your license and passing your state exam qualifies you to start taking on independent projects.
