What is a cable driver?

Cable drivers are professionals responsible for operating vehicles and equipment to install, maintain, and repair cables used for telecommunications, internet, or electrical systems. Their work often involves driving trucks equipped with reels of cable, setting up work zones, and ensuring cables are properly laid or removed. Cable drivers may also assist in troubleshooting issues with existing lines and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
