What is a burn unit RN?

Burn Unit RNs are registered nurses who specialize in caring for patients with burn injuries. They work in hospital burn units or intensive care units, providing critical care, wound management, pain control, and emotional support to patients and their families. Their responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with wound debridement and skin grafts, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote healing and recovery.
