What is Bayer Environmental Science?

Bayer Environmental Science was a division of Bayer AG specializing in providing solutions for pest, weed, and disease control in non-agricultural markets such as public health, turf and ornamentals, forestry, and vector control. The division focused on developing products and services to protect public spaces, homes, and environments from harmful pests and invasive species. In 2022, Bayer sold its Environmental Science Professional business to Cinven, a private equity firm, and it now operates independently as Envu. Bayer continues to be known for its work in healthcare and agriculture, but no longer operates this environmental science division.
