What is a BAS Control Technician?

BAS Control Technicians, or Building Automation System Control Technicians, are professionals who install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated systems that control a building’s heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, and other critical systems. They help ensure these systems operate efficiently and can also program and calibrate sensors and controllers. Their work improves building comfort, energy efficiency, and system reliability, often using specialized software and tools to monitor and adjust building operations.
