What is an avionic technician?

Avionic Technicians are specialized professionals who install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain the electronic systems and equipment used in aircraft. These systems include navigation, communication, radar, and flight control systems critical to the safe and efficient operation of airplanes and helicopters. Avionic Technicians work with complex wiring, software, and hardware to ensure all onboard electronic instruments function properly.
