Are nursing jobs in demand?

Nursing jobs are in high demand at the moment. The general population is aging, and people are living longer, which results in an increased demand for nursing professionals. Additionally, many places lack significant medical infrastructure and there is often need of traveling nurses to visit these communities to provide primary care. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth for health practitioners is 16%, and some specialties, such as nurse practitioners, are projected to grow by 31%.
