Are energy engineering jobs in demand?

Energy engineering jobs are in demand as the need for green power and energy efficiency increases. To pursue a career as an energy engineer, you must meet certain qualifications in your education and training. You need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, perhaps with a specialty like architectural, environmental, electrical, or mechanical engineering. You also need to pass the NCEES exams to earn your fundamentals of engineering (FE) and later, your professional engineering (PE) licenses.
