What does an apprentice interior carpenter do?

An Apprentice Interior Carpenter assists experienced carpenters with constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures inside buildings, such as walls, doors, cabinets, and molding. They learn to use various hand and power tools, read blueprints, measure materials, and follow safety procedures. Apprentices gain hands-on experience while developing their skills through on-the-job training and sometimes classroom instruction, ultimately working toward becoming a fully qualified carpenter.
