What is an apprentice Duke Energy meter reader?

Apprentice Duke Energy Meter Readers are entry-level employees who are responsible for reading and recording electricity meter data at customer locations. They ensure accurate meter readings, report any irregularities or safety hazards, and often interact with customers during their visits. As apprentices, they receive on-the-job training to learn company procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of handheld meter reading devices.
