What is an Air Force RN?

Air Force RNs, or Air Force Registered Nurses, are licensed nurses who serve as commissioned officers in the United States Air Force. They provide medical care to military personnel and their families in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and during deployments. Their responsibilities include patient assessment, administering medications, developing care plans, and sometimes participating in humanitarian or disaster response missions. Air Force RNs also receive specialized training and may have opportunities to pursue advanced education and leadership roles within the military healthcare system.
