What is Ada programming language?

Ada is a high-level, statically typed programming language designed for reliability, maintainability, and efficiency, especially in large, long-lived applications where safety and security are crucial. Originally commissioned by the U.S. Department of Defense in the late 1970s, Ada is widely used in critical systems such as aerospace, defense, transportation, and medical devices.
