Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Lead Project Manager for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Irving, TX; Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a highly experienced program management professional who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving business initiatives and programs. The role will act as a leader to implement technology investments and key initiatives related to cloud technologies, migration/modernization of applications, and build-out of required infrastructure. This person will act as an expert to develop or influence initiatives for highly complex business and technical needs across Project Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Connect the dots across workstreams and always be on the lookout for opportunities to improve process, remove friction and transform the business
  • Provide planning and change management across project scope, timeline, and resources
  • Drive execution and workplan management of work stream and factory objectives
  • Maintain work stream milestones and dependencies
  • Manage and control the work stream critical path
  • Develop communication plan aligned with the program communications team
  • Host regular meetings with partners to understand milestones, tasks, risks, and issues
  • Document and drive action items or issues/risk mitigation as they arise
  • Execute impact analysis for key milestones or outcomes that are At-Risk or Off-Track and develop and monitor Go to Green plans
  • Align with PMO and manage all compliance requirements for the work stream

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
  • Strong experience in business transformation, simplification, and modernization
  • Experience managing in a complex, matrixed environment and comfortable leading and executing through influence
  • Agile & iterative delivery and tools expertise for complex, enterprise-wide initiatives (i.e, Jira and Confluence)
  • Deep expertise in strategic problem-solving and project management
  • Experience translating technical delivery into actionable communication for senior stakeholders
  • Infrastructure experience with Data Center build out, Neighborhoods, cloud migration, app modernization/transformation and executive communications
  • Subject matter knowledgeable in two or more technical areas: Change Integration/Change Delivery, Dev Ops, Infrastructure-As-Code, x86/ARM/GPU, Container/K8, Virtual Machines, Networking, DMZ, Databases, Storage, Messaging Middleware, API Gateways, Batch/ETL, Data LakeHouse, AI/ML, Mainframe, Public Cloud
  • Experience strategically engaging with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serving as an experienced advisor to leadership
  • Highly effective and proven consultative leader with strong business and data-driven acumen

Pay range: $58.75 - $66.75 per hour
