Job description

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support an upcoming data center relocation project near Philadelphia. This role will focus on virtualization infrastructure, Kubernetes/containerized environments, Active Directory administration, and firewall/router management.

The position will involve a combination of remote infrastructure administration and occasional hands-on work within the data center environment. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage virtualization infrastructure environments
  • Administer Kubernetes/container platforms
  • Manage Active Directory environments and user access
  • Support firewall, router, and network infrastructure
  • Assist with data center migration and infrastructure relocation activities
  • Perform both remote administration and on-site infrastructure support as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong infrastructure engineering background
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Proxmox experience highly preferred)
  • Kubernetes/container environment experience
  • Active Directory administration experience
  • Firewall and router management experience
  • Professional, organized, and team-oriented communication skills

Location:
Although this role is primarily remote, candidates should reside within the Philadelphia area to support occasional on-site data center activities.
