Job Summary: Under direction of the Contract Manager the Contract Support Analyst is responsible for administration and implementation of provider agreements to ensure parties comply with terms and condition of such agreements.This position serves as the point of contact for the Contracting Department and requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding of provider contracting. The ability to analyze and interpret fee schedules and provider contracts in order to assist with contract resolution as it relates to claim payment and system set-up.To the extent necessary, this position will work with different departments and personnel to accomplish resolution to contract/claim disputes. This position is responsible for auditing of contract builds and maintenance of the system as agreements renew and new agreements are executed. Experience in the healthcare field with a focus on provider/contracting data is essential.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Graduate/Equivalent
  • Technical School/1 Year College
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or health services preferred. Education may be substituted for equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare such as medical claims, contracting and/or Provider Relations required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access,etc.)
  • Enjoys working in both individual and team settings
  • Must be able to work independently; providing management with status updates
  • Multi-task; establish priorities
  • Self-starter, Resourceful and able to execute projects in a fluid and fast paced environment
  • Good communication and relationship skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in working with QNXT, Impact and/or any claim processing application is preferred
