We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design conveyors, automated equipment, machines, and container handling solutions using SolidWorks. In this role, you will create 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with automation components. You will optimize designs for efficiency, manufacturability, and performance, ensuring systems meet client specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate has experience with mechanical design in automation, strong SolidWorks skills, and a passion for innovation. Key Responsibilities: • Design conveyor systems, automated machines, and material handling equipment using SolidWorks. • Develop detailed models, assemblies, and technical drawings. • Collaborate with electrical and automation teams to integrate designs. • Conduct stress and load analysis to ensure system functionality. • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from design to installation. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with conveyors and automated systems. • Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assembly, and drafting). Strong knowledge of mechanical components and automated systems.

Required Qualifications: • Education: ○ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. • Experience: ○ Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably focused on conveyor systems, automated equipment, or material handling solutions. ○ Expertise in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assembly design, and drafting (SolidWorks certifications are a plus). ○ Experience designing components and systems for automated machinery, including conveyors, robotics, and container handling systems. ○ Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM), assembly, and automation integration. • Skills & Knowledge: ○ Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including kinematics, mechanics, and thermodynamics. ○ Experience with material handling systems, automated equipment, or logistics automation. ○ In-depth knowledge of gears, motors, bearings, drives, and other mechanical components used in automation systems. ○ Proficiency in creating technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). ○ Ability to analyze and solve complex mechanical problems using SolidWorks Simulation or other CAE tools. ○ Familiarity with industry standards, including CE, ISO, UL, and safety regulations. • Additional Skills: ○ Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. ○ Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $85.00/hr.
