Job description

Our client, a public sector organization supporting health and human services, is seeking a Web Developer to join their team. As a Web Developer, you will be part of the IT department supporting the development and maintenance of Drupal websites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Albany, New York

Position: Hybrid
Duration: 12+ Months Minimum
Contract W2 and C2C

What's the Job?

  • Ensure all Drupal websites are usable, accessible, and responsive, adhering to standards and best practices.
  • Utilize Drupal Enterprise Platform solutions to enhance delivery services using current industry technologies.
  • Develop Drupal themes, custom modules, and functionalities for both frontend and backend development.
  • Leverage PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Twig templating to create dynamic and responsive web solutions.
  • Collaborate with large teams to deliver high-quality, compliant web applications within project timelines.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 64 months of experience in custom Drupal module development, including modules, features, and themes.
  • At least 48 months of experience working with Acquia, SearchStax, and SOLR.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels, with experience extending them through code.
  • 64 months of experience in HTML5, CSS3, and SASS, with a focus on responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • 64 months of programming experience with PHP and JavaScript/jQuery.
