SKIMS is looking for a Jr. Graphic Designer to join our creative team, supporting our digital & e-commerce initiatives.
This Role is Los Angeles based so the successful candidate must be open to relocating or be in LA, to work from the office for 4 days a week.
The Jr. Graphic Designer will be responsible for website banners & landing pages, digital static & motion assets for our paid advertising campaigns, emails, email versioning, site mockups, and exporting production-ready assets across various platforms and channels. The right candidate is an expert in design that drives direct response and business performance. You can quickly learn and adapt to the brand's aesthetics while leveraging performance design best practices to create thumb-stopping, action-driving creative.
Key Responsibilities
• This is a fast-paced position that requires precise production skills
• Design landing pages optimized for conversion (Desktop and Mobile)
• Refresh all site banners regularly with new imagery
• Create engaging digital assets in multiple variations and sizes for paid social & paid search platforms (Instagram, Google, YouTube, TikTok etc.)
• Edit a variety of video footage and static imagery, animate motion graphics
• Support email creative associated with marketing initiatives and automation
• Work with the performance marketing team to drive insights and learnings from creative tests.
• Leverage AI tools to support creative production, concepting, and iteration (e.g., generating variations, enhancing assets, accelerating workflows)
• Brainstorm and research ad concepts and ideas to make sure our campaigns are always evolving and driving results in a constantly changing digital landscape.
• Stay in close communication with creative and performance team
• Handling creative production pass-off and maintaining asset organization cross-functionally
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Recent graduates - 1 years of experience in digital design for social media, web and email marketing.
• Experience with graphic design, motion design and UX/UI design
• Knowledge of layout and typography
• Experience in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects.
Hands-on experience using AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Kive, Flora, Higgsfield, Adobe Firefly, or similar) to enhance design workflows, generate assets, and iterate on concepts quickly
• Familiarity with a test and learn creative framework: continue looking to iterate and find the next new winner.
• Video Editing experience is required
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times.
• Excellent organization and communication skills. This role will be highly cross-functional with involvement in multiple projects and initiatives.
• Experience with project management tools such as Monday, Asana etc.
• A passion for great content and the latest trends on the internet.
• Los Angeles based (preferred) or willing to relocate. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
