Job description

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing the adoption of Amazon Web Services with a strategic partner serving the Healthcare market. AWS is looking for a Partner Development Manager to engage and support strategic ISVs within the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry. The Partner Development Manager for Healthcare and Life Sciences will focus on ISV's and is responsible for managing deep, strategic partnerships with approximately 9 ISV partners spanning all HCLS sub-segments, including Providers, Payors, MedTech, HealthTech, and Biopharma.

Each portfolio is intentionally balanced with 1-2 large, high-revenue generating ISVs alongside 6-8 emerging partners representing significant growth potential. This structure enables the PDM to deliver strategic attention to anchor partnerships while cultivating the next generation of high-impact HCLS technology companies.
Key job responsibilities
Your mission will be to drive co-sell success, executive alignment, marketplace acceleration, and revenue growth across the entire HCLS landscape. The PDM leads go-to-market strategy and campaign orchestration with partners, developing and managing pipeline governance and deal support, and owns executive relationship management at the C-level and VP level within partner organizations

Enablement leadership and joint customer event planning round out the strategic mandate, ensuring partners are equipped and positioned to win in market.
Internally, this role partners closely with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, sub-segment leaders, Marketplace teams, APN program managers, marketing, legal, finance, and support organizations. Externally, the PDM engages directly with ISV partner sales leadership, C-level executives, product and marketing teams, healthcare customers, and consulting partners to drive tri-party initiatives and joint value creation.
Travel, as necessary, to engage field teams and partners to execute initiatives.
A day in the life
- Identifies and manages partner opportunities through sales cycle, pipeline reviews, and opportunity registration (e.g., upsell, cross-sell), monitoring and maintaining accurate revenue forecasts. Sells directly to partners for their utilization, driving end-to-end sales cycle and revenue growth


- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, managing all aspects of partner's business including sell-to and sell-through revenue while establishing AWS as partner's preferred cloud provider.
- Develops/executes business plans with partners, including financial plans, resource allocation, metrics, and revenue targets to deliver against partner goals.
