Highlights of the Role

  • Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the site-wide quality control program for sawmill and planer operations.
  • Optimization: Manage and utilize production systems to maximize lumber value, grade, and recovery.
  • Compliance: Ensure all products meet company specifications and regulatory standards through audits and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and grading agency staff to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on quality control activities and key performance indicators.

What You Offer

  • Analytical: Possess advanced problem-solving, troubleshooting, and statistical analysis skills.
