In this role, you will provide technical and industry expertise throughout the pre-sales process, partnering closely with customers to understand their needs, craft innovative solution strategies, and demonstrate the power of Hyland's platform. Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do
  • Act as the technical lead for multiple, complex customer engagements, applying deep expertise in Hyland's solutions and/or relevant verticals to consult with customers, identify technical needs, establish requirements, and formulate winning solution strategies.
  • Create and present compelling demonstrations of proposed solution strategies to key customer stakeholders to drive validation, buy-in, and confidence in Hyland's platform.
  • Operate as a recognized expert in ECM, vertical markets, and the technical intricacies of solutions; serve as a liaison to other departments and contribute as an innovative thought leader to the overall growth and quality of the team.
  • Provide technical responses for RFPs and develop internal documentation standards to ensure consistency and adherence to process.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with global services to transition key customer information, remaining actively involved to ensure a smooth handoff and continued customer success.
  • Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members; partner with development to advocate for solution enhancements and present at trade shows, conferences, and events.

Role Essentials - What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Sales Solution Engineer with expertise in technical sales and a relevant industry or technology.
  • Significant experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and software implementation methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of modern development frameworks and integration standards, including Java/J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP/ESB.
  • Up to 60% travel time required.

Pay Transparency

Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are provided to comply with relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $130,000-$199,000, eligible for benefits and variable compensation.
