A rapidly growing, mission-driven company is looking for a Director of Human Resources to serve as a key strategic leader across all facets of HR. This role owns the full people function, from compliance and full-cycle recruitment to performance management and organizational scaling, as the company prepares for continued rapid growth. A strong fit for an HR leader who has helped build infrastructure in a fast-moving environment and wants real ownership over how the people strategy evolves.

Highlights

  • Competitive base salary plus bonus and equity
  • Hybrid schedule
  • High-impact, strategic seat with broad ownership across the HR function
  • Startup or high-growth company experience strongly valued
  • Direct influence over culture, infrastructure, and scale as the organization grows
  • Comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match, full insurance coverage, and PTO

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain HR compliance programs and policies across multiple jurisdictions
  • Own full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
  • Lead performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and HR policy programs
  • Develop learning and leadership development programs
  • Scale HR operations and infrastructure to support company growth
  • Guide change management through ongoing growth phases

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred
  • 7+ years of HR leadership experience in a rapid-growth or mission-driven organization
  • Startup experience is a strong plus
  • Deep understanding of HR systems, performance management, recruiting, and compliance
  • Advanced project management skills with a track record of strong execution
  • Comfortable operating in dynamic, evolving environments
  • Strong communicator and culture-focused, data-informed decision-maker

This is a strong opportunity for an HR leader who wants to shape the people strategy of a growing organization from a true leadership seat.
