About Us:

MCI is a 46-year-old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electrical enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems and design-to-order metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products including water pumping, oil production-drill and refining controls, waste water treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, and more!

Position Summary

This position is responsible for testing and troubleshooting industrial control panels, pump station systems, and related electrical equipment before shipment. The ideal candidate will be able to read electrical schematics, identify wiring or component issues, perform functional testing, and ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform electrical and functional testing of industrial control panels and equipment

· Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

· Diagnose and correct wiring, component, and programming issues

· Verify products meet quality standards and specifications

· Document test results and quality findings

· Work closely with production, engineering, and service teams to resolve issues

Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, quality control, or industrial controls

· Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems

· Experience with PLCs, motors, VFDs, and control panels preferred

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

· Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred

Preferred Experience

· Inspection of UL 508A industrial control panels

· Knowledge of NEMA enclosure requirements

· Experience in panel shop or electrical manufacturing environment
