Job description

About the Company

At Flow, we're reimagining what it means to live, work, and connect. More than just a real estate company, Flow is a brand, a technology platform, and an operations ecosystem spanning condominiums, hotels, multifamily residences, and office spaces. We're building a new kind of living experience: one that's flexible, connected, and designed to create genuine community and real value for the people who call Flow home.

Our mission is oneness:  prioritizing our residents and their experiences, and fostering connection with ourselves, their neighbors, and the natural world. By putting people at the center of everything we do, we're creating vibrant, human-centered communities where life, work, creativity, and play all come together in one place.

About the Role

Flow has a heartbeat, and this role helps bring it to life across The Flow Trip (bi-monthly print magazine), Afternoon Delight (newsletter), The Flow Print Shop, and our broader content ecosystem. Together, these channels tell the story of what it means to be human, together.

The Editorial & Content Project Manager sits at the center of it all - blending editorial craft and operational discipline. You'll take features from idea to print, manage content calendars, and coordinate timelines, creatives, vendors, and partners across multiple moving parts, while contributing your own editorial voice. The right person is a strong generalist who moves comfortably between writing, editing, production schedules, and cross-functional coordination, keeping quality and momentum high across everything we publish.

Responsibilities
Editorial - The Flow Trip
  • Collaborate with the Editor to manage the end-to-end editorial process for Flow's bi-monthly print magazine, The Flow Trip, from concept to printed issue
  • Own and write 4-5 features per issue, contributing your own voice alongside guest contributors and the editorial team
  • Manage the printing relationship, schedule, and production process end-to-end - setting expectations, holding deadlines, and protecting quality through every stage
  • Help shape each issue's editorial direction in partnership with the Editor, balancing creative ambition with print realities
  • Work with guest contributors from pitch to assignment to contracts, payment, and post-print digital promotion, while nurturing existing relationships and building new ones
Content & Communications
  • Write three newsletters per week for Afternoon Delight, maintaining a consistent voice, point of view, and respect for the reader
  • Lead organic content planning across editorial and digital channels, building a cohesive calendar across social, marketing, magazine, and web
  • Support broader company copy needs, including landing pages, campaigns, internal communications, and ad hoc writing requests
  • Serve as a steward of Flow's editorial voice, helping cross-functional teams write in a way that feels aligned and intentional
The Flow Print Shop
  • Manage day-to-day operations of The Flow Print Shop, including inventory, fulfillment coordination, product launches, and overall shop health
  • Partner with creative and merchandising teams on product storytelling, positioning, and rollout across channels
Partnerships & Programs
  • Support partnership outreach and collaboration, including pitch development, deliverable coordination, and protecting editorial integrity
  • Lead Flow's annual Photo Contest operations, including coordination with Award Force, finalist and winner communication, payment, and publication
  • Coordinate Flow Trip-related collaborations and cross-functional editorial initiatives across the company
Ideal Background
  • Experience across editorial, content, and project management - likely from a magazine, independent publisher, editorial newsletter, content studio, or lifestyle brand where you wore multiple hats
  • A strong writing portfolio, including features, newsletters, headlines, or anything that shows how you think on the page
  • Direct experience supporting or managing print production, including working with printers, holding timelines, and catching issues before work goes to press
  • Comfort managing content calendars across multiple channels and coordinating with cross-functional teams without direct authority - you build alignment through clarity
  • Familiarity with the operational side of editorial work, including newsletter platforms, project management tools, and basic e-commerce workflows (Shopify experience a plus)
  • A sharp editorial eye and clear point of view - you know what's good, what's almost there, and how to close the gap
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and steady under pressure
  • Collaborative, generous, and ego-light - you contribute across the work, from features to captions, and don't keep score
  • Deep alignment with Flow's ethos: telling stories that help people feel less alone
Benefits
Comprehensive benefits package (Medical / Dental / Vision / Disability / Life)
Paid time off and 13 paid holidays
401(k) retirement plan
Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
Access to HSA-compatible plans
Pre-tax commuter benefits
Employee Assistance Program (EAP), free therapy through SpringHealth, acupuncture, and other wellness offerings
