Job Summary:
Databricks is the data and AI company that provides a Data Intelligence Platform to organizations worldwide. The Solutions Architect Manager will lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects, guiding them in customer engagement, technical qualifications, and fostering relationships to drive success in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Hire, train, and nurture a team of Solutions Architects to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
โ€ข Empower your team to navigate technical complexities, identify key use cases, and build compelling proofs of concept.
โ€ข Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
โ€ข Drive the activation of new customers by guiding the Solutions Architect team in qualifying use cases, building customer trust, and navigating complex enterprise deals from discovery to close.
โ€ข Lead your team in establishing themselves as trusted advisors throughout the customer life-cycle.
โ€ข Lead your team to excel in technical qualifications, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, product demonstrations, and implementation plans.
โ€ข Play a crucial role in achieving technical wins in complex sales cycles.
โ€ข Ensure customer success by helping them succeed with Databricks solutions and delivering outsized value to their businesses.
โ€ข Foster strong relationships across the business landscape, collaborating with partners, sales, and go-to-market teams to maximize customer and team success.
โ€ข Ability to operate in ambiguity and build foundational systems for repeatability.
โ€ข Bring structure, urgency, and vision to uncharted territory.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years in the data space with a technical product, such as data warehousing, big data, or machine learning.
โ€ข 2+ years of experience leading technical teams, preferably in a pre-sales organization, activating new customers, and exceeding annual quotas.
โ€ข Proven experience as a trusted advisor to technical executives, guiding strategic data infrastructure decisions.
โ€ข Track record of hiring, training, and promoting qualified candidates for success within the organization.
โ€ข Ability to create positive morale within the team and foster effective working relationships with Field Engineering, Sales, and other internal partners.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience in the Healthcare and Life Science sector.
