Job Summary
The Service Administrator III serves as the first point of contact with customers, promoting quality service and assisting with business growth within the branch location. This role involves high-volume customer interaction, including answering calls, providing quotes, scheduling service appointments, creating work orders, responding to emails, and maintaining clear communication with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact with customers, developing positive relationships.
- Assess customer needs, gather pertinent information, and create basic work orders in appropriate systems.
- Provide status updates to customers as requested.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and schedule service appointments.
- Operate within Client’ service documentation, warranty, and escalation processes.
- Translate customer complaints into troubleshooting plans, document results, and validate repairs.
- File warranty claims with proper documentation and requirements.
- Utilize electronic service tools to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and technical records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in the automotive service industry.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Ability to multi-task and manage scheduling systems (WMS, TMS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to Client ’ dress code and workplace expectations.
- Punctuality and professionalism are non-negotiable requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in power generation service environments.
- Familiarity with warehouse and transportation management systems.
- Strong knowledge of Client warranty and service processes.
