Job Title: Pharmacist Job Summary : The Registered Pharmacist is responsible for accurately filling and dispensing prescribed medications to patients while ensuring safety, correctness, and appropriateness. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to manage patient medication therapy, offering counsel on medication usage, and overseeing pharmacy operations, including inventory control and regulatory compliance. Exceptional customer service and professional communication with patients and healthcare providers are essential components of this role. Key Responsibilities : Medication Dispensing: Accurately fill and dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring correct dosage and instructions. Prescription Verification: Verify and interpret prescriptions to ensure correctness, appropriateness, and safe usage. Patient Counseling: Counsel patients on the proper usage of medications, including potential side effects, drug interactions, and proper storage. Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to manage and optimize patient medication therapy. Pharmacy Operations: Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including inventory control, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally and effectively. Required Qualifications : Licenses & Certifications : Valid Pharmacist license in the state. Valid Immunization license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Education: Doctoral Degree
