Job description

Logistics Project Manager

Sunnyvale, CA

12 months contract


We are seeking a Logistics Project Manager to customs/import-export processes for hardware components. This role will lead strategic logistics projects aligned to the evolving needs of the Robotics program.


Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End PO Management: Own and track purchase orders from creation through delivery, ensuring on-time performance and proactively escalating risks or delays.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between Procurement, vendors, and Logistics Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and clear communication at every stage.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance against delivery commitments, flag issues early, and drive resolution to maintain material flow.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in the PO-to-delivery pipeline and implement improvements that accelerate material movement and reduce cycle times.
  • Strategic Project Leadership: Lead logistics-related projects that support Robotics organization priorities — including new supplier onboarding, warehouse/routing optimization, and scaling logistics for new programs.
  • Reporting & Visibility: Maintain accurate tracking dashboards and provide regular status updates to stakeholders on PO health, delivery timelines, and project milestones.
  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to protect delivery schedules.
