About the team

The Principal Product Manager for Front End Frameworks will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the foundational web architecture that powers Angi’s global digital presence. This role is central to accelerating human and agentic development velocity, ensuring high-scale performance, and maintaining superior quality across our web ecosystem. As a Principal leader, you will be responsible for transitioning our diverse product experiences into a unified global front end framework and architecting that framework to fit into our agentic software development lifecycle (SDLC).

The ideal candidate is a visionary technical PM with deep expertise in modern web frameworks, a passion for developer experience, and a proven ability to enable partner teams. You will play a dual role: empowering engineers to build faster and smarter, while providing marketing teams the tools to instantly spin up SEO and LLM-optimized front ends for niche categories and pros.

What you’ll do

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Unified Platform Leadership: Define and champion the product vision for a unified global front-end platform, leading the strategic migration of partner teams.

  • Agentic SDLC Innovation: Architect front-end frameworks specifically designed for the agentic software development lifecycle, enabling AI agents to generate and maintain high-quality code with minimal friction.

  • Marketing & SEO Enablement: Develop a self-service framework that allows marketing stakeholders to launch high-performance, niche-specific, and SEO-optimized front ends for various trades and categories.

  • Human Velocity: Continuously audit and optimize the SDLC to remove bottlenecks, providing developers with out-of-the-box components and tooling that reduce time-to-market.

Execution & Leadership

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Establish deep, collaborative partnerships with engineering leaders and product managers across Angi to ensure framework adoption and alignment.

  • Technical Roadmap Management: Manage a complex platform backlog, writing detailed technical requirements and PRDs that balance immediate partner needs with long-term architectural health.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary interface between highly technical platform teams and business stakeholders, translating technical infrastructure value into clear business outcomes.

  • Framework Governance: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including build times, Core Web Vitals, platform adoption rates, and agentic code accuracy.

Data & Analytical Expertise

  • Performance Analytics: Leverage web performance data and engagement metrics to identify architectural bottlenecks and quantify the impact of framework improvements on user experience.

  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Drive a culture of data-informed decision-making by enabling seamless experimentation capabilities within the framework layer.

  • ROI Analysis: Utilize data to justify technical investments, assessing the ROI of platform migrations and architectural shifts.

Who you are

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 4 years focused on front-end frameworks, platforms, or developer-facing products.

  • Proven track record of managing high-scale web platforms and driving large-scale technical migrations.

  • Deep understanding of the modern web stack and the nuances of SEO and LLM-optimized architecture.

  • Demonstrated ability to use data (SQL, Google Search Console, Web Vitals) to drive product strategy and technical execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building for both end users and internal users

  • Experience in a high-growth B2C marketplace or SEO/LLM-driven environment.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a history of influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $165,000 - $250,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.

  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.

  • Full medical, dental, vision package to fit your needs

  • Flexible vacation policy; work hard and take time when you need it

  • Pet discount plans & retirement plan with company match (401K)

  • The rare opportunity to work with sharp, motivated teammates solving some of the most unique challenges and changing the world
